Tim it's not the fact that Donkad has and will disappoint us by demanding what America can do for him, it's that a sufficient amount of Merikans voted him back in office and still support him, and even willingly walked away from the chance to impeach him after his insurrection that disappoints us, and makes us very wary of any future American administration down the road, unless there is systemic change down to the roots of your institutions to reinstate some sort of checks and balances domestically and internationally that Donald has completely blown away.

Hi Tim, sorry but as another European my reaction is similar😕 I know there are great Americans and some states who support Ukraine totally and are appalled by their president and MAGA, not to mention the billionaires and corporate greed. We have the latter in Europe too, plus some pretty terrible politicians, but the majority oppose these. I don't see the same in USA, although I have deep respect for the 8 million plus on the last "No kings" protest. But where were the rest of the population?
Really needed that lighthearted communique to kick off my Independence Day celebrations! Thanks, Tim. Truly, Ukraine has more cards now than any time since February 2022. Let's keep democracy alive and allow it to thrive so that more and more people experience true freedom--of thought, of opportunity, freedom to elect a government for the people. Slava Ukraine!!

Today two flags and a banner are on display at my house: the Stars & Stripes, the blue & gold of Ukraine, and the words "Defend Democracy."
It's about 7 pm, so an hour and a half until sunset. I brought my flag in because I was outside watering. Some neighbors have already started setting off the kind of fireworks that will look better after dark. Now, they are just noise.
Your email reminded me to reprint my "We stand with Ukraine" sign that Move On sent out back in 2022. The blue holds up well. The yellow turns pink, so I need to reprint.
