Excellent reporting, there is a great deal of detail here that clarifies what is taking place for those of us not living and working directly in the middle of the Russian war.

"Good morning to readers; Kyiv remains in Ukrainian hands."

I never tire of reading these words.

And I don’t think we’ll ever get tired of writing them!

Great overall analysis. There is not enough reporting from the fronts. The grey zones keep expanding. Ukraine still suffering from lack of manpower. It certainly helps that Crimea will become an obstacle to Russian plans. Maybe it will force Putin to the negotiating table.

Hopefully, or maybe the pressure from within the country because of the situation?

💪Good update - be interesting to see what the increased awareness of the failures tied to the "SMO" by the general population of Russia might do to the continuation of Putin as leader when that is combined with the huge financial hits the oligarchs tied to the fuel industry must be taking? Increasing fuel prices & Porta-loos on the side of the road for motorists in line for hours in the hopes of getting fuel before stocks run out, more young people being expected to sign up to fight when surely many families already have lost people amongst the over 1 million casualties to date, people returning from Crimea with horror stories of being unable to lie on the beaches (😜) - the "experts" seem to think it is a clever strategy by Ukraine to have huge visible explosions at fuel processing facilities combined with the personal struggle to get fuel for their vehicles, and I think they have left the Kerch bridge operational to enable civilians to leave & tell people how bad things are 🤔 plus of course minimise civilian casualties & give a clearer run at Russian military assets that remain.

🤞🤞I'm hoping the Ukrainian inventors & engineers come up with something to counter ballistic missiles because of course it would take a long time to get up to manufacturing capability for Patriot missiles - if anyone can Ukrainians can 💙💛
