The developer behind Ukraine's air alert app — built in a matter of days to save lives — dreams of the day his biggest accomplishment will be a thing of the past.
Excellent article, Kataryna! Bravo Stepan! Fraud is a reality in every war - there will always be people who will profit from misery. This Canadian applauds the work of all Ukrainians who are helping their country. Slava Ukraini! ( Hope I spelled that right!)
Question: is it possible to make online donations to the described effort to prepare and help disadvantaged civilians for the coming (certainly difficult) winter?
The English version of the Kyiv city website shows no obvious opportunity to do this ("Kyiv will be able to provide hot meals to 25 thousand people and purchase 20 thousand food kits for use in emergencies.")
hi Wolfgang, we’ve made it our policy not to recommend specific orgs. we’d hate to point you to a wrong one, and honestly we don’t have the bandwidth to diligently vet them all.
The war isn’t over. May the force be with you. Keep the app.

Thank you for your support!
So interesting! Very impressed by the innovative solutions Ukrainians come up with out of necessity.
Thanks for the good update!
